Hephzibah Children's Home
Nestled in the heart of The Wesleyan Church is a wonderful place of hope and healing located in a quaint southern town, Macon, Georgia. Her roots run deep in the living legacy of Miss Bettie Tyler who founded the home for abandoned, neglected and broken children in 1900. The Tyler home place was donated and rebuilt on the present campus of Hephzibah. It is an unbelievable walk back into the historic compassion of men and women, boys and girls, who see with the eyes of Jesus and have taken the mission to their heartstrings even to his day.
Hundreds of young people, for over 110 years, have experienced the rippling effect of the love poured into Hephzibah's doors and impacted lives! Will you catch a vision of the call to "fish" for the souls of children? The kids and teenagers come to us burdened down with the weight of sin and experience life threatening, debilitating problems. We encourage them to give everything-lock, stock and barrel-to the Lord and "cast their care". The good news is that Jesus can heal them everywhere they hurt and can give them a brand new beginning in Him!
Thank you for joining hands and hearts with us as we proclaim abundant LIFE in Jesus' Name!
